Mt Washington Valley Trails & Mt Washington - NH
The highest mountain in the northeastern state of New Hampshire, at 6288 meters, MT. TrailsMt Washington Valley
There are many opportunities for hiking to the summit of Mount Washington. The most popular routes Pinkham Notch, on the east side of the mountain. Climbing in the Middle East, are immune to the usual strong winds in the north and west of most trips. The main street is the Tuckerman Ravine Trail (4.1 miles) that goes straight from Pinkham to the summit.
On the south side of the gorge, the Boott Spur trail (5.4 miles) isthe north side is the Lion Head trail (4.5 miles). Both are slightly longer than Tuckerman Ravine, but also easier for the knees. The Huntington Ravine Trail (5.1 miles) branches outside of the Tuckerman Ravine road and climbs the bare slabs of Huntington Ravine. This is probably the most difficult part

Starting points.
Pinkham Notch Visitors Center - Take Rt 16 north of North Conway, located about 10 miles north of Jackson. Parking in the main prize, it does not require a WMNF parking pass, parking in many surplus before. There are bathrooms, coin showers, food, mobile devices and some salaries. Ammonoosuc Ravine - From Rt 302 in Bretton Woods, take the Base
Road 6 miles to the point of parkingright, just before the rack. A WMNF Parking Pass is required.
